The Director of Education is a full-time, senior-level position with a significant level of responsibility, visionary planning and potential for growth. The Director of Education is responsible for overseeing Richmond CenterStage’s on-site and off-site education programs, ranging from performance-based learning opportunities (many taking place in Richmond CenterStage’s Dominion Arts Center) to school-based programs that take place in Richmond Public Schools and other surrounding school systems. Digital Arts Manager
The Digital Arts Manager’s primary roles are to produce digital content, teach video production techniques and maintain the Digital Arts Lab for the BrightLights Education Initiatives of Richmond CenterStage Foundation. The Digital Arts Manager works collaboratively with the Director of Education, Education staff and the Education Committee to develop strategies and policies regarding the Digital Arts Lab and digital media. This individual is responsible for all aspects of the digital video equipment, video production courses and organizing the database of all produced digital media. The Digital Arts Manager is responsible for supporting the education team’s efforts to cultivate relationships with schools, resident companies and other organizations in regards to video and digital media needs. Director of Development
A full-time position reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Director of Development is responsible for developing and implementing the fundraising strategy for Richmond CenterStage’s operating budget and campaigns. The Director of Development will engage constituents and leverage relationships to ensure that Richmond CenterStage meets its objectives for contributed revenue, and develops and capitalizes on enthusiasm for its growing community impact. In addition to his/her work with the Executive Director, the Director of Development supervises the work of a development team, and also supports the Board, Development/Campaign, Ad Hoc Committees, and relevant volunteers.
