Students are working to build essential skills in music that focus on an in-depth exploration of instrumental music. In lessons and activities, students develop artistic performance standards, and learn to work collaboratively with artists and other students. Students begin with an exploration of the fundamentals of music—counting, rhythm and note recognition—and will ultimately learn to play an orchestral instrument.
