Gospel Dance at Its Best

Gospel Dance at Its Best is designed to showcase new styles of dance and choreography through uplifting performances by some of the most talented, high-energy dance teams and soloist through out the region. By using gospel music and mainstream techniques, performers will display both interpretive and inspirational performances, covering a wide range of genres, including: praise dance, hip-hop, step, mime, singing, and more. Cynthia Thomas-Rustin, owner of International Fit Dance Inc., will host the event on August 4, 2012 at the Carpenter Theater at CenterStage. This year, dancers will have the opportunity to perform with DeWayne Woods, former recipient of the Stellar Award, on stage as he shares his testimony song, Let Go.
