Handicapped Accessibility at CenterStage
The venues at Richmond CenterStage are dedicated to providing all of our patrons with a pleasurable experience and a comfortable environment. The following information should provide you with answers to questions you may have upon visiting our facility.
Where can I purchase disabled tickets?
Disabled seating is available by request at the CenterStage Box Office, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, and online at Etix.com by filling out a special request form for Accessible Tickets. Please indicate when buying tickets if you require handicapped accessible seating.
How many tickets may I purchase?
Seating for persons with disabilities is limited, therefore only one additional ticket is allowed for an attendant within the same section. If other tickets are needed, they will be placed as close as possible to the handicapped section.
When can I purchase handicapped accessible seating?
Disabled seating is available on the first day of public sale.
Where should I enter the building?
Entrances to all of our venues are handicapped accessible. The Carpenter Theatre entrance is at the corner of 6th street and Grace Street, and the entrance to the Gottwald Playhouse and Rhythm Hall is on Grace Street between 6th and 7th streets.
Is there handicapped accessible parking available?
Yes, there are handicapped parking spaces available in a lot located on Grace Street across from the main entrance and a deck on the corner of 6th and Franklin Streets, which is one block away from the venue as well.
If you need further assistance, please call our box office at (804) 592-3400 from 11:00am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday.
